There is a lot of violence in music, on T.V., in movies and in video games. Violence is a learned behavior and violence in the media reinforces violent behavior. Here are some songs that we selected to demonstrate how violence appears on the media. Focus on the words and decide what you think the message is.

First of all, not every movie that features a prison escape or escaped prisoners is a Prison Escape Movie. To be on this list, a movie must centrally feature the escape, both tonally and practically, emphasizing the conditions that create the need for the escape, the process of planning and strategizing the escape (including through teamwork), the actual escape, being on the run or pursued or recaptured, and/or a general atmosphere of fear, fascism, paranoia, and injustice.
Okay, so, technically in The Fugitive, the wrongfully-convicted Dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) does not *break out of prison* so much as run away after several prisoners hijack their transport bus and attempt to escape, but the stakes are the same. Kimble is on death row for the murder of his wife, which he absolutely did not commit, and is determined to clear his name, running like hell and changing his identity and doing everything he can to avoid capture by the jeans-wearing human bloodhound of U.S. Marshall, Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones, in an incredibly well-deserved Oscar-winning performance). I love this movie so much. Sam Gerard may not care, but I do.
Detour is a good example of film noir regarding the characters like Al and Vera. The voice-over narration of the protagonist describing the forward action, using black and white film, and many scenes occurring at night are examples of film noir. But voice-over narration, being in black and white, and a lot of the movie occurring at night does not determine the genre. The jaded characters, story, and plot of murder defines the movie as a member of the crime genre. The night scenes and voice-over narration are a directorial style. These decisions are characteristics that distinguish it as film noir.
Mystery refers to the way the story is shaped. Most mysteries are concerned with who stole something or who murdered someone. Most mysteries belong to the crime genre where the story and the editing keep the audience guessing until the final minutes of the movie.

During the movie, he was revealed to be a very evil man willing to kill innocent people just to fulfill his selfish desires, he was even willing to kill children to get what he wants. He never really cared about his cousins, instead planning to frame them for murder and then tear down Wonder Wharf to replace it with what he calls his "Mega Park". He also planned out several murders and even a fire in a way that wouldn't make investigators suspect him. While frustrated, he was revealed to often describe things as "stupid".
Six years prior to the series, Grover murdered Wonder Wharf carnie Cotton Candy Dan, using his cousin Calvin's gun (with Dan biting him and swallowing his banana cufflink during the struggle), hid his body in a pile of dirt outside the wharf, and left the foot sticking out with the hope that Calvin would be accused immediately. However, his plan was ruined when a construction driver took the dirt and used it to fill a hole close to the Belcher family's restaurant, completely unaware the body was buried in it.
Grover later appears as the film's main antagonist. After a massive sinkhole opens up in front of the Belchers' restaurant, it blocks the entrance and prevent any customers from entering, putting the family business in danger due to the bank demanding a loan payment on their equipment. Later that night, Louise goes into the hole to prove to her classmates that she's brave, and the corpse of Cotton Candy Dan is revealed, putting Grover's frame job back on. When the police examine the body, they find the bullet from Calvin's gun, as well as Grover's cufflink. Grover's plan works, and Calvin is quickly charged with the murder, and arrested. Later on, he goes to the secret Fischoeder clubhouse, with the intention of completing his "master plan." Unfortunately, he finds that the Belcher kids are there, trying to solve the murder. Louise tells him they think it's Felix Fischoeder, Calvin's brother, Grover reveals that in actuality, Calvin and Felix are planning to flee the country to Cuba in a submarine made of an old ride.
When the Belcher parents tumble into the clubhouse, Grover takes their phones and adds them to the hostages. Through song, Grover reveals his motive and plan. After being bullied and ridiculed by Calvin and Felix (who he considered to be squanderers of their family fortune) for ages, Grover decided he'd had enough, and came up with a plan to get Calvin charged with murder, so he'd get money via family trust, investing in an expensive Mega Park to replace the old Wonder Wharf. However, his plan initially failed when the dirt he hid the body in was used to fill in a previous hole outside the Belcher Family's restaurant, with the body being buried in the hole without anybody noticing, and the plan was back on when Louise found the skeleton the other night. The last step is to get the Fischoeders out of the way by trapping them under the pier in the submarine ride they were planning to use to flee the country and setting the pier on fire using stuffed animals from the pier and a homemade fuse, so it collapses on top of them, crushing and killing them, with the alibi of him being at the gym for three hours, as he snuck out earlier.
